The occurrence
On 1 August 2025, a Bell 206B helicopter operated by Apex Helicopters Inc., with only the pilot on board, was conducting aerial spraying operations on a cornfield near Thamesford, Ontario, approximately six nautical miles northeast of London Airport, Ontario.

On 30 July 2025, a privately registered Hawker 850XP aircraft, operating as flight RVJ850 from Pittsburgh International Airport, Pennsylvania, United States, landed at Toronto/Lester B. Pearson International Airport, Ontario, with two crew members on board.

The occurrence
On 31 July 2025, a privately registered Grumman American Aviation Corporation AA-5A aircraft departed from Ottawa/Gatineau Airport (CYND), Quebec, on a local flight with three people on board. During the flight, the aircraft experienced an engine failure and collided with trees near Ottawa/Macdonald-Cartier International Airport (CYOW), Ontario.
