The occurrence
On , a Mooney M20K (C-GQMS) was operating on a round-robin IFR flight plan from Springbank (CYBW), Alberta, with 2 pilots on board. During the approach to runway 35, the aircraft descended and struck the ground 0.6 NM short of the runway. The pilot in the left seat was fatally injured, and the pilot in the right seat received serious injuries. There was no post-impact fire.

The occurrence
On , a Piper PA-28-140 aircraft departed Dryden Regional Airport, ON, on a visual flight rules (VFR) flight to Marathon Airport, ON. The aircraft was reported overdue at 5:39 am UTC. A Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) mission subsequently found the aircraft substantially damaged; it had collided with terrain approximately 20 NM southeast of Sioux Lookout, ON (CYXL). The 4 occupants of the aircraft were fatally injured.

At approximately 1329 Eastern Daylight Time on 25 May 2022, the Diamond Aircraft Industries GmbH DA 42 NG aircraft (United States registration N591ER, serial number 42.081) departed Runway 09 at London Airport, Ontario, on a local test flight following a major overhaul that had been completed at the Diamond Aircraft Industries Inc. facilities at the airport.

The occurrence
A float-equipped Cessna U206G airplane was conducting a flight from the Sandy Lake Water Aerodrome, Ontario, to a nearby lake and back. On the return flight, while on the final approach to land, the aircraft collided with a communication tower in the Sandy Lake First Nation community. The aircraft subsequently collided with terrain, caught fire, and was destroyed. The pilot, who was the sole occupant, was fatally injured. The Nishnawbe Aski Police Service and the Sandy Lake First Nation Fire Department responded.
