TSB deploys a team to Vancouver Harbour, British Columbia, following a collision between 2 vessels
Richmond, British Columbia, 18 March 2019 – The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) is deploying a team of investigators to Vancouver Harbour, British Columbia, following the collision between the M.V. Caravos Harmony and the M.V. Pan Acacia. The occurrence took place on March 17, 2019 at approximately 00:20 local time. The TSB will gather information and assess the occurrence.
The TSB is an independent agency that investigates air, marine, pipeline, and rail transportation occurrences. Its sole aim is the advancement of transportation safety. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
