Statement from Board member Paul Dittmann on the violation of the Conflict of Interest Act

Gatineau, Quebec, 16 November 2018 – Having dedicated my career to the service of Canada, I take my obligations as defined in the Conflict of Interest Act very seriously.

The administrative monetary penalty imposed by the Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner relates to a stock option financial transaction in the amount of approximately $1,400, which I failed to disclose within the prescribed 30-day period. As soon as I became aware of this error, I reported it and took immediate steps to rectify the matter. I am truly sorry for this oversight and I have taken all necessary steps to ensure this does not happen again.
