Investigation report: July 2020 loss of control and collision with terrain of a small aircraft in Rolly View, Alberta
Edmonton, Alberta, 13 January 2021 — Today, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) released its investigation report (A20W0046) into the 3 July 2020 loss of control and collision with terrain of the privately registered amateur-built Murphy Aircraft Mfg Ltd. SR3500 aircraft in Rolly View, Alberta.
The TSB conducted a limited-scope, fact-gathering investigation into this occurrence to advance transportation safety through greater awareness of potential safety issues.
