Investigation report: fatal injury of a pilot during ground operations in Port Hardy, British Columbia, in December 2020

Richmond, British Columbia, 25 June 2021 — Today, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) released its investigation report (A20P0105) into the fatal injury of a pilot that occurred on December 7th, 2020 during ground operations of a Wilderness Seaplanes Ltd. de Havilland DHC-2 Mk. I.

The TSB conducted a limited-scope, fact-gathering investigation into this occurrence to advance transportation safety through greater awareness of potential safety issues.
