Investigation report: May 2020 collision with terrain of a powered paraglider in Gibbons, Alberta

Edmonton, Alberta, 28 October 2020 — Today, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) released its investigation report (A20W0035) into the 13 May 2020 collision with terrain of a RS Ultra Kangook MF Paramotor, a powered paraglider, in Gibbons, Alberta.

The TSB conducted a limited-scope, fact-gathering investigation into this occurrence to advance transportation safety through greater awareness of potential safety issues.
