Investigation report: July 2018 collision with obstacle on takeoff near Black Diamond, Alberta
Edmonton, Alberta, 4 January 2019 – Today, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) released its investigation report (A18W0111) on the July 2018 collision of a Piper PA-28-161 Warrior II with hay bales on takeoff near Black Diamond, Alberta.
The TSB conducted a limited-scope, fact-gathering investigation into this occurrence to advance transportation safety through greater awareness of potential safety issues.
